Laura's guests on Community Focus are Frances O'Callaghan from Positive Age and Geraldine Clarke from Caring for Carers Ireland and also Cavan Monaghan Family Carers who have 11 support groups in Cavan and Monaghan. Frances spoke of how Positive Age has developed from its origins from within the then North Eastern Health Board in 1988 to the present where it provides a range of supports aligned with the Social Gain component of Health Care Delivery in 2012. Padraig explains what the charge is for and how it will go towards the delivery of Cavan County Council services. Laura's Studio guests were Enda O'Reilly Cavan Institute, Deidre Cavan Institute Students Council and Jim Lyng Cavan Fire and Rescue Service. Deidre spoke about how the Students engaged with the Crash Simulation and the benefits each Student can get from the event. Enda outlined how all the emergency services worked with the Cavan Institute ensuring a very realistic scene which was held in the Equestrian Centre Latt Cavan. Jim Lyng Station Officer Cavan Fire and Rescue Service said that the simulation was as near as possible to situations they encounter when called to a Road Traffic Accident. Community Focus Launch

Cavantv.com launched a first for Cavan with its new Community Focus Programme live from their new Top of the Town Studio in Connolly Street Cavan. The show was presented by Eimear Crowe and the guest speaker was Cllr Seán McKiernan Cathaoirleach Cavan County Council. Seán spoke of his role as Cathaoirleach in the Community and how he sees Politics working at County level. Aine Duffy was a panelist on the programme and contributed to the various debates. Eimer's next guests were Paul Cox and Tony Brady, two musical and broadcasting legends in the region. Paul and Tony spoke of how lively the music scene is in Cavan and how they will present a dedicated music programme on Cavantv.com in the coming weeks. Owen Morrissey, Francis Clarke and Vincent Dolan spoke to Brian Daly about their work starting at National School Junior Infant level right up to Sixt Class. They also spoke of how they were working on developing Clubs troughout the county but starting with Cavan Town and Ballyjamesduff. All About Sport this week concentrated on the Cavan GAA U21 team in their back to back Ulster championship success. The Manager behind their success Terry Hyland was appointed manager of the Senior team in advance of the 2012 Championship. Owen spoke to Terry in the studio about their success in Ulster and their preparation for the semi-final on Saturday 21st. Owen congratulated Terry on his appointment as Manager of the Senior Team and how the county was placed to face the first round of a very competitive championship. Paul had a broad spectrum of Artists on The Green Room this week. His first Studio guest was Joey Byrnes Wood Sculptor who has a number of Art pieces on display in Cavan Town. Joey discussed his latest commission supported by Cavan Arts Office which will be unvailed in Dun Na Ri Forrest Park Kingscourt later this year. The Strypes are now planning appearances in England and Mainland Europe during 2012. Paul's first studio guest was Nadine Lyons. The bubbly Nadine spoke of her meteoric rise on the Music scene from her appearance in Cavan's got Talent in The Imperial in 2011.
