Community Focus Launch

Cavantv.com launched a first for Cavan with its new Community Focus Programme live from their new Top of the Town Studio in Connolly Street Cavan. The show was presented by Eimear Crowe and the guest speaker was Cllr Seán McKiernan Cathaoirleach Cavan County Council. Seán spoke of his role as Cathaoirleach in the Community and how he sees Politics working at County level. Aine Duffy was a panelist on the programme and contributed to the various debates. Eimer's next guests were Paul Cox and Tony Brady, two musical and broadcasting legends in the region. Paul and Tony spoke of how lively the music scene is in Cavan and how they will present a dedicated music programme on Cavantv.com in the coming weeks. The programme will have a regular Wednesday evening slot starting at 7.00pm. The programme will be available Worldwide on the Web and locally as a TV Channel on Smyth's Digital Cablesystem. This first show was recorded by Cavan Community Radio and Eimer indicated it will be on the airways as part of their weekly schedule
