On All About Sport this week Owen McConnon is joined in studio by John O’Donnell and James Mooney talking about Indoor Short Mat Bowling and its popularity in County Cavan. There is a feature on Virginia College as they prepare for an All-Ireland semi-final meeting with Boherbue College, Mallow on Saturday March 10th. The College won the Arthur’s Cup (Under-16) Ulster championship for the first time this year. Owen McConnon,s show this week featured A roundup of all thing GAA in the county and Shane Donohoe Fairtown Stud Cavan who spoke of his involvement in the Horse Racing Industry and how he has carved out an export potential niche for Irish bought and trained Horses to Hong Kong. Michael Mooney spoke about his role as Chairman of Cavan Gaels and their fundraising event which will include the Brogan Bro's from the successful Dublin team who won The Ssm Maguire Cup last year. They are bringing SAM with them and Michael indicated there will be photo opportunities for everyone
